KT: "control the tempo"
The Houston Comets defeated the Los Angeles Spars Friday night in a basketball game that will not be shown as a "how to play basketball pretty and efficiently" DVD; but, the bottom line is the Comets won 66 to 56.
Neither team shot above 33 percent from the field for the game.
Comets head coach Karleen Thompson told the media the key to the win was the Comets were able to "control the tempo".
Though the game was tied three times, the Comets never trailed the Sparks throughout the game.
