Riverin and Berezhynska after loss to UAB
The Rice Owls squared off against the UAB Blazers Thursday night at Rice's Autry Court in a very important ball game as the Conference USA regular season winds down. Rice entered the game with a 9-5 conference record while UAB was 10-4.
The Blazers are now 11-4.
UAB dominated the second half and defeated Rice 79 to 66. The Blazers made 30 field goals in the game and 16 of those buckets came on lay-ups. UAB carved up the Owls' defense throughout the ball game.

Rice closes out the regular season with a 5pm tip-off this Saturday, February 24, versus Memphis.
