Owls get ready for C-USA Tourney

Yesterday, the Rice Owls women's basketball team boarded a bus headed for Tulsa, OK, to prepare for the 2007 Conference USA Women's Basketball Tournament. The Owls (#4 seed) play Friday afternoon (3:30pm) in a quarter-final game versus the winner of a first-round match-up between #5 seed Texas El-Paso and #12 seed Memphis.

Head coach Greg Williams told the HRR: "...we have as good a chance as any to win the Tournamaent..."
