HOUSTON, TX (Toyota Center) -- The Houston Comets lost to the Sacramento Monarchs 82 to 67 Monday night at Toyota Center.

During the game, All - Star forward Chamique Holdsclaw announced her retirement from basketball.

Comets head coach Karleen Thompson's post-game interview discusses both.

Karleen continues to say all of the right things about her team's winless start to the 2007 WNBA season.
