Swoopes: "I've always wanted to finish my career..."
Following today's press conference announcing the sale of the Houston Comets to business owner Hilton Koch, I spoke (briefly) with Comets, WNBA, and women's basketball superstar Sheryl Swoopes. Unlike most of the questions she was asked, I asked her basketball questions such as her free agency and what she believes the Comets need in terms of personnel to help win a fifth WNBA title.

Wow...SS22 agrees with my take on the needs of the Comets...
A point guard, and a solid back up for herself. Note how she said she should not be leading the league in minutes played...we all agreed with that.
She also likes Kostaki's game, and thinks she didn't get a fair opportunity.

Great interview, Kris. Thanks for posting it.
I agree with Sheryl about Kostaki - I really don't think she got an opportunity to show us how good a player she is last season, and I look forward to seeing her play for the team in 2007.
