Five Rice Owls MBB Games Selected for National Television

Wednesday afternoon, the American Athletic Conference announced its broadcast schedule and game times for the upcoming men's basketball season.

Four Rice Owls Men's Basketball games will be nationally televised on ESPNU with another game slated for either ESPN2 or ESPNU.

Rice will have back-to-back games on ESPNU, beginning on Jan. 8 at North Texas (8 pm CT). They will then return home to face Temple at 1 pm CT on Jan. 11.

The Owls will face Tulane on ESPNU on Jan. 25 at 1 pm. Three days later (Jan. 28), Rice will travel to Tampa, Fla., to face South Florida (6 pm) on either ESPN2 or ESPNU.

Rice's final ESPNU game will be Feb. 11 at 8 pm. against in-state foe North Texas.

The Owls' remaining AAC games will all be streamed by ESPN+, beginning with two straight at Tulsa on Jan. 1 and against Charlotte on Jan. 4. Both games will tip-off at 2 pm CT.

Rice will have two more games on ESPN+; Jan. 14 versus UTSA (7 pm) and Jan. 19 at Florida Atlantic (12 pm).

The Owls begin February with three straight games ESPN+, beginning Feb. 2, at home, against Memphis (2 pm), followed by road games at East Carolina (Feb. 5 – 6 pm) and Charlotte (Feb. 8 – 3 pm).

Rice will close out its season with six straight games on ESPN+; Feb. 15 at Tulane (11 am), home games against UAB (Feb. 19 – 7 pm) and Tulsa (Feb. 22 – 2 pm), road games at Memphis (Feb. 26 – 7 pm) and UTSA (Mar. 2 – 5 pm) and its regular season finale at home versus Wichita State (Mar. 6 – 7 pm).

Additional games may still be selected for broadcast at a future date.
