Rice Owls guard Quincy Olivari and Rice Owls forward Max Fiedler have been named Second Team All-District by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), the organization announced Tuesday morning.

It is the third time that Rice has placed two players on the team and the first since 2017.

A Second Team All-Conference USA selection, Olivari leads the Owls and is third in C-USA with 18.8 points per game and three-pointers made per game (2.7), fourth in field goal percentage (.422), fifth in three-point field goal percentage (.372) and seventh in free throw percentage (.796) while placing third on the team and 11th in C-USA with 5.9 rebounds per game.

He has connected on 90 three-pointers, which is the second-most in school history. Olivari has led the team in scoring a team-high 20 times and has recorded 30 double-figure scoring games. He leads the Owls with 15 20-point games and is one of 29 players in the country with four 30-point games, including a season-high 34 against WKU. He twice earned the Conference USA Player of the Week and set the school all-time three-point mark with 248.

Fiedler is scoring 10.7 points per game. He's connecting on 72.8% from the field while leading C-USA with 5.1 assists per game. He's also fourth in rebounds (7.4), third in double-doubles (7), and is eighth in blocks per game (1.1).

A Second Team All-Conference USA selection, Fiedler is the first player in school history to record three straight seasons with 300 points, 200 rebounds and 100 assists, as well as 1,000 career points, 800 rebounds and 375 assists. He's had 20 games with 10+ points and a team-high 10 with 10+ rebounds. Fiedler also recorded the second triple-double in school history and 21st in C-USA history at UTSA on January 16 with 24 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists.

The 12th-seeded Owls begin the College Basketball Inviational this Sunday, March 19, when it faces fifth-seed Duquesne. Tip-off is scheduled for 12 p.m. CT and will be streamed by FloHoops.
