Rice Owls Men's Hoops Adds December 13th Home Game Versus New Mexico

Thursday afternoon, Rice men's basketball announced a home game has been added to the Owls' 2020-21 schedule.

Since Rice's December 12 road basketball game at Houston was postponed due to COVID-19 related issues within the Cougars' program, Rice will now host New Mexico this Sunday, December 13. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. and the game will be livestreamed on CUSAtv.

Sunday's game will be the season opener for the Lobos.

This will be the eighth meeting between Rice and New Mexico and the third since 2015. UNM holds a 5-2 lead in the series, but the teams have split the last two meetings.
