Destiny Jackson verbal commits to Rice Owls women's basketball

On August 21, Destiny Jackson, 5'8" guard, from Mansfield Timberview High School announced her decision to attend Rice University and play basketball for Head Coach Tina Langley:

Jackson, 5'8", guard, helped Mansfield Timberview reached the UIL 5A championship game the last two seasons. Jackson was named to the 2018 UIL Girls Basketball State 5A Tournament All-Tournament Team (As selected by the Texas Girls Coaches Association).

Jackson, joins Ashlee Austin, India Bellamy, and Katelyn Crosthwait as members of the Class of 2019 to commit to Rice.

The Early Signing Period to sign National Letters of Intent is November 14-21, 2018.
