Rockets Sign Isaiah Crawford and JD Davison to Two-Way Contracts

The Houston Rockets have signed forward Isaiah Crawford and guard JD Davison. Per the Transactions page at NBA.com, each player signed a Two-Way Contract.
Crawford, 23, signed a two-way deal with Sacramento last summer after going undrafted out of Louisiana Tech.
Crawford, 6'6", 220, played 15 games with the Sacramento Kings (0.9 ppg, 0.5 rpg, 0.1 apg) in 2024-25. He played in 37 games with the Stockton Kings in the G League and averaged 13.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.2 steals in 31.5 minutes per game shooting 47.1 fg%, 40.1% from 3, and 78.9% from the foul line.
Davison, 22, played in 36 games the past three seasons with the Boston Celtics (2.1 ppg, 0.8 rpg, 0.8 apg) after being selected with the 53rd pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. Davison played his college ball at Alabama for the Crimson Tide
Davison, 6'1", 195, earned G League MVP honors with the Maine Celtics last season. In 45 total games, he averaged 25.6 points, 7.7 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 34.6 minutes per game shooting 48.2 fg% including 33.2% from 3 and 76.2% from the foul line.
In the NBA, a Two-Way contract is a contract that allows players to suit up for both an NBA team and that team's NBA G League affiliate. Each team is allowed to have a maximum of three players on Two-Way deals at the same time. Two-way contracts allow NBA teams to carry three extra players in addition to the 15 on their regular season roster.
Two-Way contracts are available to players with up to three years of NBA experience. Players on Two-Way contracts are also limited to a maximum of 50 games with their NBA team. Players on two-way contracts will earn $636,435 in 2025-26, half of the rookie minimum. Two-way contracts can't be signed after March 4.
Two-way players are ineligible to play in the postseason (including play-in games) unless they're promoted to the standard 15-man roster, which can happen at any time up until the last day of the regular season.
