Rockets to face LA Clippers in 2025 NBA Summer League Opener

Friday, the NBA announced game and broadcast scheduled for the 2025 NBA Summer League which will feature all 30 NBA teams and take place July 10-20 at the Thomas & Mack Center and Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

The Summer League Houston Rockets' first opponent in the 2025 NBA Summer League will be the LA Clippers Summer League team on Friday, July 11, at 9 pm CT, on NBA TV.

Next, the Rockets will face the Detroit Pistons on Sunday, July 13, at 3 pm CT, on ESPN before facing the Atlanta Hawks on Monday, July 14, at 3:30 pm CT, on NBA TV. The Rockets' fourth match-up in the 2025 NBA Summer League will be against the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday, July 17, at 7 pm CT, on NBA TV.

Each NBA team will play at least five games at the 2025 NBA Summer League, the first four from July 10-17. After each team's first four games, the top four teams will advance to participate in the playoffs, beginning with a semifinal doubleheader on Saturday, July 19, at 3 p.m. CT and 5 p.m. CT on ESPN. The two winning teams from the semifinal games will meet in the championship game on Sunday, July 20, at 9 p.m. CT on ESPN.

The four playoff teams and their seeds for playoff games will be determined by winning percentage in each team's first four games, with tiebreaker criteria available here. The 26 teams that do not advance to the four-team playoff will play a fifth game on either Friday, July 18, July 19 or July 20.
