Rockets Return to POST Houston for NBA Draft Watch Party

This Thursday, June 22, the Houston Rockets are returning to POST Houston (401 Franklin St, Houston, TX 77201) to host their 2023 NBA Draft Party. Last year's draft marked the Rockets first event at this downtown hub for culture, food, and recreation.

The event opens at 5 p.m. with appearances by Rockets alumni from 6-7 p.m. The Draft begins at approximately 7 p.m. CT.

The watch party will be hosted by Rockets in-arena host Kiotti and will feature appearances by Rockets alumni along with performances by the Clutch City Dancers, Clutch the Bear, and the Launch Crew. Official Rockets DJ - DJ Palmo - will start the night off with music and will be joined by producers from the team's Clutch City Beats initiative.

The POST Houston will be transformed into the ultimate NBA Draft experience complete with a giant custom video board and overhead center-hung screen on which fans will be able to watch the draft and the Rockets exclusive content feature “Earning Your Stripes” produced in collaboration with adidas, and starring Jalen Green and Jabari Smith Jr.

There will be activities for all ages to enjoy including inflatables, basketball clinics and shooting contests on half basketball courts that will be installed for the event, and an art exhibit curated by local artist Franky Cardona. Fans will have opportunities to win autographed items and tickets to the Rockets home opener and take advantage of special deals on retail merchandise and signed commemorative items.
