Rockets Sign Free Agent Brandon Sampson

Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey today announced the team has signed free agent guard Brandon Sampson.
Sampson (6'5", 184) was eligible for the 2018 NBA Draft following his junior season at Louisiana State. Sampson played for Atlanta in both the Utah Jazz Summer League and the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. Following his senior year of high school in 2015, Sampson was named Mr. Basketball in the state of Louisiana.
Sampson will be on an Exhibit 10 contract, allowing the Rockets to convert his contract to a two-way deal with the RGV Vipers.
