Rockets vs. Pacers:

The Rockets swept the 2017-18 season series against the Pacers 2-0 after losing both meetings in 2016-17.

Houston hit more than twice as many 3-pointers (35-15) as Indiana in the two games last season while shooting 40.2% from behind-the-arc.

James Harden averaged 27.5 points and 12.5 assists against Indiana last season and had nearly as many steals (3) as turnovers (4).

Clint Capela averaged 21.0 points and 15.0 rebounds vs. the Pacers last season while shooting 70.4% from the floor.

For the Pacers: Tyreke Evans (Questionable – Sprained Right Ankle); Thaddeus Young (Out – Bruised Right Foot); C.J. Wilcox (Out – Torn Right Achilles).

The Rockets won their preseason opener vs. Memphis Tuesday, October 2… Houston is 10-3 in the preseason under head coach Mike D’Antoni, including 4-1 in 2017.

Houston scored 131 points in its preseason opener vs. Memphis on 10/2… the Rockets were second in the league in scoring last season with 112.4 ppg and were 19-0 when scoring 120+ points.

Chris Paul had a game-high 22 points in 26 minutes of play in the preseason opener vs. Memphis on 10/2… the Rockets were 23-2 when he scored 20+ points last season.

James Harden had 20 points in the preseason opener against Memphis on 10/2… he led the NBA in scoring with 30.4 ppg last season and scored 20+ points in 69 of his 72 games played.
