Houston Cougars' Jan. 23 game vs Cincinnati Postponed; Coogs at Temple Instead

The American Athletic Conference announced Houston Cougars Men's Basketball game vs Cincinnati, scheduled for Saturday morning (11 a.m. CT, CBS), has been postponed due to positive COVID-19 cases and the ensuing contact tracing of student-athletes at Cincinnati.

Instead, the Cougars will travel to Philadelphia to face Temple at 11 a.m. (CST), Saturday, inside the Liacouras Center. CBS will broadcast the game.

Houston will be looking for the season sweep against the Owls after taking a 76-50 win inside the Fertitta Center on December 22.

Rescheduling information for the game against Cincinnati has yet to be determined.
