American Opponents Set for 2026-27 Rice Women's Basketball Season

The American Conference has announced the women's basketball league schedule pairings for the 2026-27 season.
The league schedule will consist of 18 games. Teams will play six of its 12 conference opponents twice and the other six once – three at home and three on the road.
Rice will face six teams twice - East Carolina, North Texas, South Florida, Temple, Tulsa, and UTSA.
The Owls will host Charlotte, Florida Atlantic and Memphis while traveling to Tulane, UAB, and Wichita State.
Rice has already announced several games during the non-conference slate, including the opening weekend multi-conference partnership games against Murray State and Richmond in Richmond Va. The Owls will also host the Rice Invitational against UTRGV and Lamar during Thanksgiving week.
The complete 2026-27 women's basketball composite schedule with dates and times will be announced at a later date. Conference play begins on Wednesday, December 30 and will continue through Saturday, March 6.
