Dominique Ennis Named C-USA Freshman of the Week

After earning her first two career starts this past week, Rice Owls freshman guard Dominique Ennis was selected as the Conference USA Freshman of the Week, the C-USA office announced Monday afternoon.
Ennis dropped 12 points in Rice's 85-64 win over Florida Atlantic on Thursday, February 9, while adding five steals and three rebounds. Ennis followed that performance up with seven points and three steals in the Owls 67-58 win against FIU Saturday, February 11).
Ennis is the first Rice Owls women's basketball player this season to be tabbed as C-USA Freshman of the Week.
