Rice Owls women's basketball announces 2021-22 C-USA Schedule

Thursday afternoon, Rice women's basketball announced the remainder of their 2021-22 schedule with the addition of 18 Conference USA games, complimenting their 10 non-conference games.
The 18 conference battles will be split with nine to be played at Tudor Fieldhouse and nine on the road.
Rice opens C-USA play on New Year's Day when they host North Texas in the first of two meetings with the Mean Green. The Owls then tangle with the Lady Raiders of Middle Tennessee on January 6 in Murfreesboro, TN in a rematch of last season's C-USA Championship.
The Owls will host WKU (January 13), Marshall (January 15), Louisiana Tech (January 27), Southern Miss (January 29), UAB (February 17), FIU (February 19), UTEP (Mar. 3) and UTSA (Mar. 5). Other C-USA road contests include UAB (January 8), Old Dominion (January 20), Charlotte (January 22), UTSA (February 3), UTEP (February 5), North Texas (February 12), Louisiana Tech (February 24), and Southern Miss (February 26).
The C-USA Championship tournament will be held in Frisco, Texas for a fifth straight season at The Ford Center at The Star from March 8-12.
