Shelby Hayes, 6'2, from Cedar Park HS, announces commitment to Rice

Saturday evening, Shelby Hayes, 6'2", post, Cedar Park High School announced she will attend Rice University and play basketball for Head Coach Lindsay Edmonds and the Rice Owls Women's Basketball program.

Hayes, Class of 2022, helped Cedar Park (27-1) win the 2021 5A State Championship. She scored 10 points and had 8 rebounds in the Timberwolves' 46-39 win over defending state champs Frisco Liberty in the state championship game.
