6'2 wing Malia Fisher announces her commitment to Rice

Malia Fisher, announced on Twitter, she has committed to Head Coach Tina Langley and the Rice Owls women's basketball program. Fisher is part of Coach Langley's 2021 Signing Class.

Fisher, 6'2" athletic wing, attends Hebron Christian Academy in Gwinnett, Georgia. Hebron finished the 2019-'20 season with a 30-1 record. The lone loss happened in the semifinals to defending champion Holy Innocents.

Fisher averaged 15.6 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.5 steals, 3 assists, 1.6 blocks for Hebron in the 2019-'20 season. She received numerous honors for her performance this season First Team honors on the 2019-20 Gwinnett Daily Post All-County Girls Basketball Team and Honorable Mention to the All Classification All State team as well as First Team All State for Class A.
Fisher plays grassroots / AAU basketball for the Atlanta Cagers.
