Rice Men's Basketball's Travis Evee Immediately Eligible for 2020-21 Season

Rice men's basketball coach Scott Pera announced Wednesday afternoon that 6'0" guard Travis Evee's transfer waiver was approved by the NCAA, making him immediately eligible to play during the 2020-21 season.
Evee spent last year at VMI, where he was named the Southern Conference Freshman of the Year, He led the Keydets with 12.6 points per game, 1.4 steals per game and an 80.6% free throw percentage. He also averaged 2.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists. Evee connected on 44.1% from the field and 36.2% from three, while scoring in double-figures 21 times and with seven 20-point games, including a season-high 26 points at Duquesne.
