Oklahoma State's Stailee Heard (player) and Kansas' Jaliya Davis (freshman) garnered weekly Big 12 women's basketball awards for the 11th week of the 2025-26 season. Arizona State's Heloisa Carrera, Baylor's Taliah Scott and Cincinnati's Mya Perry join the award winners on the Big 12 Starting Five, which highlights strong performances from around the league.
Heard posted a triple-double (18 points, 17 rebounds, 10 assists) while leading the Cowgirls to their first ranked win of the year with an 86-58 victory over then-No. 19 Iowa State. It was the third triple-double in program history. Heard became the first Big 12 player this century to record at least 15 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists in a game. Additionally, Heard is the second D1 player since at least 1999-00 to put up that stat line against a ranked opponent. Heard dropped 21 points to start the week in an 85-76 win over KU. Heard was also named the Naismith National Player of the Week, while earning her second career Big 12 Player of the Week nod.
Davis scored a career-high 30 points against OSU, her fifth time scoring at least 20 points since returning from injury. The standout freshman has scored double figures in each game she's played this season. She added 11 points against Arizona State.
Davis collected a career-high four blocks against the Sun Devils. This is her third consecutive Big 12 Freshman of the Week honor.
Carrera set a new career-high in points (22) and made free throws (10) in ASU's 67-51 win over KU while shooting 85.7% from the floor.
Scott anchored Baylor to a 2-0 week in the Beehive State, scoring 25 points against BYU and 14 against Utah. Perry averaged 21 points during the week while shooting 48.1% from the field, 53.3% from three and 80.0% from the line.
The 2026 Big 12 Women's Basketball Tournament returns to Kansas City's T-Mobile Center from March 4-8/9, featuring all 16 Big 12 women's basketball programs competing for the Conference's postseason title and an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.
