TCU's Olivia Miles (player) and Oklahoma State's Lena Girardi (freshman) collected weekly Big 12 women's basketball honors for the seventh week of the 2025-26 season (Dec. 15-22). Arizona State's Gabby Elliott, Iowa State's Audi Crooks and Texas Tech's Snudda Collins joined the duo on the Big 12 Starting Five, which highlights strong performances from around the league.
Miles recorded her third consecutive triple-double against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, tallying 25 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds. The 2024-25 Naismith Award Semifinalist became the third player in NCAA history to post three straight triple-doubles and ranks third all-time with nine career triple-doubles. Her three triple-doubles so far this season are tied for the Big 12 single-season record. Miles combined with Marta Suarez to become the second pair of teammates in NCAA history to post triple-doubles in the same game and are the first to do so against an NCAA Division I opponent. The three-time All-American followed up her record performance by tallying a season-high 29 points on 11-of-18 shooting in a 77-55 win over K-State in the Horned Frogs' league opener. This is her second Big 12 Player of the Week nod of the season.
Girardi came off the bench in OSU's final non-conference matchup against Tulsa and dropped 14 points on 4-of-8 shooting while knocking down three 3-pointers. Girardi then played 18 minutes in her first league game, helping the Cowgirls to a 91-63 victory against Cincinnati. Girardi scored 13 points while shooting 62.5% from the field and 60% from beyond the arc. Girardi becomes the second freshman to earn multiple Big 12 Freshman of the Week honors this season.
Crooks recorded her third 40-point game of the season in a 79-76 win over Kansas and became just the fifth women's college basketball player to record four straight games with 30-plus points in the last 15 years.
Elliott scored a season-high 30 points in a 68-66 road victory over Gonzaga, including 17 in the fourth quarter and posted 14 points in ASU's league opening victory against Colorado to help the Sun Devils improve to 14-0 on the season.
Collins also helped her team reach the 14-0 mark, dropping 21 points in a road victory at then-No. 15 Baylor helping the Lady Raiders snap a 31-game losing streak to the Bears. It was TTU's first win in Waco since 2004 and helped Texas Tech enter the AP Top 25 poll for the first time since 2012.
