TCU's Sedona Prince (player) and BYU's Delaney Gibb (freshman) earned weekly Big 12 women's basketball recognition for their performance during the 10th week of the 2024-25 season.
Prince was atop the league in scoring (25.0), rebounding (12.0) and blocks (4.0) per game during the week while leading TCU to its best start to Big 12 play in program history (5-0) after road victories at Kansas and Texas Tech. Prince netted 30 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and three blocks in the Horned Frogs' 80-73 win over the Jayhawks, becoming one of four players in the nation this season to finish with at least 30 points and 12 rebounds in multiple games. The center from Liberty Hill, Texas helped TCU set a program record for its fewest points allowed in a Big 12 road game, holding the Lady Raiders to 43 points, and is the only player in the country to average at least 18 points, nine rebounds and three blocks per game so far this season. This is the Wooden Award Midseason Top 25 List member's fifth career weekly Big 12 honor and third this year.
Gibb led all Conference freshmen during the week with 17 points per game, 4.0 assists per game and tied for the most blocks per game (1.0) while adding 5.5 rebounds per game. The native of Raymond, Alberta, guided BYU to an 89-75 win over Houston before adding 18 points with seven rebounds against then-No. 12 K-State. Gibb's 16.6 points per game so far this season ranks fifth nationally among freshmen. This is her fourth weekly recognition of the season and third in the last four weeks.
