UCF swept the league's weekly accolades following a 3-0 record during the third week of the 2024-25 women's basketball season. Kaitlin Peterson earned the Conference's Player of the Week title while Emely Rodriguez was named the Big 12 Freshman of the Week. It marks the first time a UCF player has won either weekly honor.
Peterson tied her career high with 35 points against SIUE, the most by a Big 12 player in a single game this season and tied for the 11th most nationally. The senior guard scored at least 20 points in all three games this week with 21 against Florida A&M and 23 versus North Florida.
Rodriguez tallied 35 points throughout the Knights' three games, the eighth most nationally by a freshman during the week. The criminal justice major from La Romana, Dominican Republic shot 52.6% from the field with 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game during the week.
