Women's College Basketball on ESPN Networks Increases for 2019-20 Season

ESPN announced more than 250 games will be available across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNEWS, SEC Network, ACC Network (ACCN), Big 12 Now on ESPN+ and Longhorn Network. An additional 2,200-plus games on ESPN3, SEC Network +, ACCNX and ESPN+ , the leading direct-to-consumer sports streaming service, gives fans access to more than 2,400 women's games this season, leading up to ESPN’s extensive coverage of Champ Week and the NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship.

Schedule Highlights

SEC Network

SEC Network will televise 58 regular season women's basketball games throughout the 2019-20 season, including 46 conference contests and extensive whip-around coverage of all SEC games on Thursday, January 2, the opening day of conference play, and on Sunday, March 1 to close out SEC action. SEC Network will also provide live studio and event programming from the 2020 SEC Women's Basketball Tournament in Greenville, S.C., with the early rounds on SEC Network and the SEC Now set on site for wall-to-wall Champ Week coverage. ACCN

ACC Network (ACCN), the new, 24/7 national platform dedicated to ACC sports, will exclusively air 60 regular-season games in its debut season, including 42 conference matchups, representing a 46-game increase in the number of ACC women's basketball events available on ESPN’s television networks over last year. Included in ACCN’s slate is Notre Dame at Louisville on Sunday, February 16. The Cardinals-Fighting Irish rivalry that has burned bright in recent years as the two teams have met in each of the last two ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament championship games. Big 12 Now on ESPN+

Big 12 Now on ESPN+ will carry 54 women's college basketball games this season, as part of an enhanced rights agreement announced earlier this year. Big 12 events will be available with an ESPN+ subscription, and join a programming lineup of thousands of live sports events and thousands of hours of on-demand content, including acclaimed original programming and the 30 for 30 film library, as well as premium editorial content and tools. Longhorn Network

Longhorn Network, ESPN’s 24-hour network devoted to The University of Texas, will air 14 women's basketball games during the 2019-20 basketball season. In total, seven Big 12 matchups for the Longhorns will be featured on LHN with 17 UT contests highlighted across ESPN networks. The Texas women's basketball team is coming off its sixth straight NCAA Tournament appearance.

ESPN: Home of the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship

Beginning Friday, March 20, every round of the championship will be carried on ESPN Networks. The Women's Final Four will be live from Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, on Friday, April 3 and Sunday, April 5.

ESPN will reveal the NCAA Top 16 Seeds, determined by the NCAA Division I women's basketball championship sport committee, during Big Monday matchups. The reveals will take place at halftime during the February 3 game between Oregon and UConn, as well as the March 2 game featuring USF and UConn. The entire 64-team field for the 2020 NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship will be announced during the Selection Special on Monday, March 16.
