Houston's Fabian White, Memphis' Jalen Duren Earn Weekly Honors for week ending February 6

The American Athletic Conference announced the winners of the league's weekly men's basketball honors for the week ending February 6.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Fabian White * Graduate * Forward * Houston
White led Houston to a 2-0 week by averaging 21.5 points and 8.0 rebounds. He was 7-of-11 from 3-point range and shot at a 63.0 overall percent from the field. White had 21 points and seven rebounds against Tulane on Wednesday, February 2 and recorded 22 points and nine rebounds at Cincinnati on Sunday, February 6.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Jalen Duren * Center * Memphis
Duren posted a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds in the Tigers' big win over UCF on Saturday, February 5. The freshman was 6-of-9 from the field and helped push Memphis' win streak to three.

Weekly Honor Roll
Darius Perry * Senior * Guard * UCF
Perry averaged 14.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in a 1-1 week for the Knights. In a rivalry win over South Florida on Thursday, February 3, he hit five 3-pointers on the way to a 20-point performance.
Josh Minott * Freshman * Forward * Memphis
Minott was 7-of-9 from the field and recorded 16 points, three rebounds and two blocks in the Tigers' win over UCF.
Damian Dunn * Sophomore * Guard * Temple
Dunn averaged 18.5 points and 3.0 rebounds in a 2-0 week that pushed the Owls up to third in the conference standings. He scored 26 points in a road victory over East Carolina.
Jaylen Forbes * Sophomore * Guard * Tulane
Forbes led Tulane to a 1-1 week by averaging 18.5 points and 4.5 rebounds, including a 26-point performance against East Carolina on Saturday.
Ricky Council IV * Freshman * Guard * Wichita State
Council averaged 15.5 points and 4.5 rebounds off the bench in a 2-0 week for the Shockers. He had 20 points and seven rebounds over second-place SMU on Saturday.
