SMU's Kendric Davis, Cincinnati's Viktor Lakhin Earn AAC Men's Basketball Weekly Awards for week ending December 5

The American Athletic Conference announced the winners of the league's weekly men's basketball honors for the fourth week of the 2021-22 season.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kendric Davis * Senior * G * SMU
Davis averaged 19.5 points, 6.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals in a pair of wins for the Mustangs. Against UNLV on Wednesday, the senior guard scored 18 points and dished out eight assists. He recorded 21 points, five assists and five steals in a win over Vanderbilt on Saturday.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Viktor Lakhin * Forward * Cincinnati
Lakhin aided the Bearcats to a pair of victories by averaging 8.5 points and 7.0 rebounds. In a home win against Bryant on Sunday, the forward recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Weekly Honor Roll
Marcus Sasser * Junior * Guard * Houston
Sasser posted 19.0 points, 3.5 steals, 2.0 assists and 1.5 rebounds in two victories for the Cougars. He hit seven 3-pointers against Northwestern State on Tuesday.
Damian Dunn * Redshirt-Freshman * Guard * Temple
Dunn shot 61.4 percent from the field and averaged 21.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in a 2-0 week for the Owls. He had a career-high 27 points in the win over Penn.
Jaylen Forbes * Sophomore * Guard * Tulane
Forbes averaged 22.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists as the Green Wave went 1-1 last week.
Jeriah Horne * Graduate * Forward * Tulsa
Horne led the league in scoring last week, averaging 23.5 points in two games, including a career-high 30 at Oral Roberts.
Morris Udeze * Junior * Forward * Wichita State
Udeze averaged 16.0 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting 59.1 percent from the field in two games for the Shockers.
