UCF's Tacko Fall and Tulsa's DaQuan Jeffries Selected to NBA Draft Combine

UCF center Tacko Fall and Tulsa wing DaQuan Jeffries were two of 11 players picked by the NBA from the G League Elite Camp to stay for the NBA Draft Combine which begins on Thursday, May 16.

Fall (7'6") and Jeffries (6'5") made an impression during the camp are joined by Florida State's Terance Mann, Miami's Dewan Hernandez, Syracuse's Oshae Brisset, Nevada's Cody Martin, Auburn's Jared Harper, Iowa's Tyler Cook, Iowa State's Marial Shayok, Mississippi State's Reggie Perry and Ole Miss' Terence Davis.

The group was chosen through a poll of NBA executives who viewed 40 draft-eligible players who took part in the G League camp Monday and Tuesday. UCF's Aubrey Dawkins and Cincinnati's Jarron Cumberland were among those who participated in the Elite Camp.

The 11 additions bring the total number of invitees to the combine to 77. The 2019 NBA Draft Combine will feature five-on-five games as well as shooting and strength and agility drills at Quest Multisport in Chicago on May 16 and May 17. ESPN2 will provide coverage both days from 2-6 p.m. CT.

Fall left UCF as the program's all-time leader in blocked shots (280) and NCAA Division I's all-time leader in field goal percentage (74.0). He averaged 11.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.6 blocked shots per game as a senior in 2018-19 and earned All-American Athletic Conference Third Team honors.

Fall helped lead the Knights to the program's first NCAA Tournament win, a First Round triumph over VCU. They then nearly pulled the upset over top-ranked Duke, falling in the final moments in the Second Round matchup.

Jeffries was the leading scorer (13.0 ppg) and second-leading rebounder (5.6 rpg) for the Golden Hurricane this season and also earned third-team American Athletic Conference accolades. Jeffries showed off his athleticism during Final Four weekend as he won the 2019 College Slam Dunk Contest.

Jeffries shot 51.7-percent for his career, scored in double-figures 34 times with eight 20-point games and three double-doubles. Jeffries finished his career ranked 14th on Tulsa's all-time blocks list with 74, despite only playing two years for the Golden Hurricane.

The 2019 NBA Draft will be held on Thursday, June 20, in Brooklyn, NY, at the Barclays Center.
