Houston's Davis, Brooks Named to NABC All-District 25 Teams

Houston Cougars' guards Corey Davis Jr. and Armoni Brooks were named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-District 25 Team this afternoon.

Davis was named to the District's First Team, while Brooks collected Second-Team honors.

Davis leads Houston with 16.7 points per game and is one of Houston's and the league's most prolific 3-pointers, draining 100 treys in 264 attempts.

Davis recently moved past 1,000 points in his Houston career, becoming the 48th Cougar in school history to reach that milestone.

Brooks leads Houston with 112 three-point shots made this season; and, he became only the sixth player in school history to drain 100 or more treys in a single season and, with 200 in his career, he is only the fifth player to reach 200 plus.

However, Brooks also leads the Cougars with 6.5 rebounds per contest and is one of only two players to rank among The American Athletic Conference's Top-15 leaders in both scoring AND rebounding.

Shizz Alston Jr. (Temple), Jeremiah Martin (Memphis), B.J. Taylor (UCF) and Jarron Cumberland (Cincinnati) joined Davis on the First Team while Markis McDuffie (Wichita State), Laquincy Rideau (USF), Jalen Adams (UConn) and Jayden Gardner (ECU) joined Brooks on the Second Team.

The teams were selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC in NCAA Division I.
