The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league's weekly men's basketball honors for the 13th week of the men's college basketball season.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Markis McDuffie - Wichita State - Senior - Forward - Paterson, NJ

McDuffie paced the Shockers to a 2-0 week with home wins over SMU and Tulsa. The senior had 27 points and seven rebounds in Saturday's win over Tulsa. It was his ninth 20-point performance of the year. McDuffie averaged 21.0 points in the two Shocker wins last week and moved into the top-25 on the school's all-time scoring list. Against the Golden Hurricane, McDuffie matched his career-high with five offensive rebounds and scored put-backs on four of them. McDuffie has hit at least one 3-pointer in 12-consecutive games.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
