Coogs' home opener versus Alabama A&M to start at 2 pm
November 4, 2018 -- 3:18 p.m. CST
With the finalizing of Houston Football's kickoff time vs. Temple (6 p.m.), the Houston Cougars' Men's Basketball team set its time for its 2018-19 season opener against Alabama A&M: 2 p.m. (Central Time).
Since the Fertitta Center is not quite done with construction, Texas Southern University's H&PE Arena will host the game.
Houston Football fans can show their football tickets at the TSU Box Office on Saturday afternoon and receive FREE admission to the Basketball game. The TSU Box Office opens at 12:30 p.m., Saturday.
Saturday's game versus Alabama A&M will be the first of a school-record 20 regular-season home games during the 2018-19 campaign. Houston will play Alabama A&M (November 10), Rice (November 14) and Northwestern State (November 19) as part of the Men Against Breast Cancer Cougar Cup before taking on UT Rio Grande Valley November 28, all inside H&PE Arena.
