Coogs attending American Athletic Conference Basketball Media Day October 15

Houston Cougars Men's Basketball Head Coach Kelvin Sampson and seniors Galen Robinson Jr., Corey Davis Jr., and Breaon Brady will represent the Cougars during the American Athletic Conference Media Day, set to begin Monday.
Sampson and his seniors will speak to national and local media throughout the day before returning home to Houston for practice inside the Guy V. Lewis Development Facility on Monday evening.
Media Day begins at 6:45 a.m. (Central Time) with the unveiling of the Preseason Coaches' Poll, Preseason All-Conference Teams and Preseason Player and Rookie of the Year. Commissioner Mike Aresco will go live from the podium at 7 a.m. (Central Time).

Sampson will join analyst Andy Katz and fellow coaches Penny Hardaway (Memphis), Brian Gregory (USF) and Mike Dunleavy, Sr. (Tulane) for a Coaches' Roundtable, beginning at 7:45 a.m. (Central Time) Monday.
From there, Sampson and Robinson will offer their insights into the 2018-19 season with host Hali Oughton and analyst Mike O'Donnell on the live show, beginning at 8:20 a.m. (Central Time).
