Rockets Cam Whitmore and Wilson Sporting Goods to Donate Check and Host Basketball Clinic at Harriet & Joe Foster Family YMCA

Houston Rockets rookie Cam Whitmore is partnering with Wilson Sporting Goods to present the Harriet & Joe Foster Family YMCA with a donation check and to conduct a basketball clinic for its members with assistance from the Rockets.
Earlier this summer, Wilson announced a campaign with Whitmore and fellow rookies Jett Howard of the Orlando Magic and Jalen Wilson of the Brooklyn Nets to help enable access to play at a YMCA in their team's market. Each player was able to increase Wilson's donation amount through their play at the 2023 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
Whitmore, who was named MVP of NBA Summer League, was able to double Wilson's donation amount through his performance.
Wilson's Summer League program is part of a multi-year national partnership with YMCA of the USA. Over the past three years, $1,500,000 in funding has been provided to enable equity and access to sport for underserved youth.
