Houston Cougars Women's Basketball has been selected as one of the four teams that will play in the Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship Goombay Division on Nov. 28 and 30, bdG Sports announced on Friday.

The tournament will be hosted at the Baha Mar Convention, Arts & Entertainment Center, where Houston, Arkansas State, Kent State and Tulsa will battle in the four-team Goombay Division.

Houston will play the First Round game against Arkansas State at 12:30 p.m. CT on Friday, Nov. 28 while Kent State and Tulsa will face each other at 10 a.m. CT.

The winners will play in the Championship game scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 30 at 12:30 p.m. CT, and the losing teams will play in the consolation match at 10 a.m. CT.

About the Opponents
• The Cougars will face the Red Wolves for the first time in program history.
• If Houston faces Kent State, it will mark the second meeting in program history. The Cougars defeated the Golden Flashes, 54-44, on Nov. 30, 2013.
• A meeting with Tulsa would mark the 34th meeting, with Houston winning five of the last six games.
