Laila Blair Receives All-Big 12 Conference Honorable Mention

After leading the team in scoring during the regular season, Houston senior guard Laila Blair was named an All-Big 12 Conference Honorable Mention, voted on by the league's coaches and announced Tuesday.

In league action, Blair ranks sixth in scoring, averaging 16.3 points per game. Blair averaged 2.9 rebounds per game and 2.6 assists per game. Blair shot 88.5 percent from the charity stripe, 35.3 from the field and 33.0 percent from the 3-point line.

This season, Blair posted 26 games in double figures, including a career-high 33 points in Houston's 77-66 victory against TCU on Jan. 13. Blair reached the 1,500-career point milestone as she scored 23 points against #6 Texas on Feb. 14. The Houston native ranks sixth all-time for scoring in program history with 1,595 points.
