Houston Cougars Women's Basketball Announces Big 12 Conference Schedule

With the unveiling of the 2023-24 Big 12 Conference schedule on Tuesday, the Houston Women's Basketball team knows its full slate for their inaugural year in the new league.
The Cougars will open the conference schedule with home game against Texas Tech inside Fertitta Center to close out the calendar year on Dec. 30.
The first of two sets of back-to-back road game for the Cougars begins on Jan. 3 at Kansas State and Jan. 6 at Baylor will be followed by their first back-to-back set of home games against BYU on Jan. 10 and against TCU on Jan. 13.
A Wednesday-Saturday slate sends the Cougars to Morgantown, WV to battle West Virginia and then back to Houston to face Oklahoma on Jan. 17 and Jan. 20.
The second and final back-to-back road swing sends Houston west to Lubbock, Texas and then east to Orlando, FL., on Jan. 24 and Jan. 27 to play Texas Tech again and UCF for the first time since the Cougars held the Knights to just 42 points on Jan. 10, 2023.
Houston then gets two straight home games, first against Cincinnati on Jan. 30, the first meeting since the Cougars held the Bearcats under 40 points in late January, and the second meeting of the year against Baylor on Feb. 4.
The Cougars alternate road-home the rest of the season, starting at Kansas on Feb. 10, home against Texas on Feb. 14, at Oklahoma State on Feb. 17, home against Iowa State on Feb. 21, at TCU on Feb. 24, at BYU on Feb. 28 before closing out the regular season on March 2 against UCF in Fertitta Center.
The schedule is subject to change as the conference awaits additional television information.
The 2024 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship will be held in Kansas City, MO, inside T-Mobile Center, Thursday, March 7 to Tuesday, March 12.
