Hightower's Tae'lor Purvis commits to Coogs

Monday afternoon, Tae'lor Purvis, one of the top guards in the Greater Houston area and the state of Texas, announced she will attend the University of Houston to continue her academic and athletic career.

During the 2018-'19 season, Purvis 5'9", guard at Fort Bend Hightower High School, averaged 11.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 2.6 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game and helped guide the Lady Canes to a 38-3 record.
For her stellar junior season, Tae'lor was named to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) 5A Team.
The Early Period to sign a National Letter of Intent (NLI) is November 13 to November 20, 2019 while the Regular Period to sign a NLI is April 15 to May 20, 2020.
