5-star guard Isiah Harwell commits to the Houston Cougars Men's Basketball Program

Isiah Harwell, one of the top shooting guards in the Class of 2025, has announced his commitment to the Houston Cougars Men's Basketball program. Harwell chose Houston over Cal, Gonzaga, and Texas.
Harwell announced his decision to Joe Tipton (Tipton Edits and On3) on YouTube.
Harwell, 6'5" / 6'6", about 200 pounds, is from Pocatello, Idaho. However, he currently attends Wasatch Academy in Utah.
Harwell is ranked 9th in the composite recruiting rankings. He's physically strong with a solid frame and is considered an "elite shooting guard prospect" who can score at all three levels: at the rim, midrange, and three-point.
Harwell is Houston's second 5-star commitment (Jarace Walker in 2022) in the last 3 seasons.
