Marcus Sasser Named to AP Preseason All-America Team

Houston Cougars senior guard Marcus Sasser added another preseason honor to his resume when he was named to the Preseason All-America Team by the Associated Press on Monday.

This was only the latest preseason All-America honor for Sasser. The Dallas native has been named to Preseason All-America teams by The Almanac, Blue Ribbon College Yearbook, Dick Vitale and College Hoops Today.

Sasser also was named the American Athletic Conference Preseason Player of the Year and earned a place on the Preseason First Team in coting by the league's head coaches.

Sasser was joined on the AP Preseason All-America Team by Oscar Tshiebwe (Kentucky), Drew Timme (Gonzaga) Armando Bacot (North Carolina) and Trayce Jackson-Davis (Indiana).
