Thursday evening, Houston Cougars All-American guard Quentin Grimes was selected with the No. 25 overall pick by the New York Knicks in the First Round of the NBA Draft.
With his selection, Grimes became the 12th NBA Draft First-Round selection in school history and the first since Greg "Cadillac" Anderson was taken with the No. 23 pick by the San Antonio Spurs in 1987.
Grimes helped lead the Cougars to a 28-4 overall record and the program's first appearance in the NCAA Final Four since 1984.
Grimes scored 17.8 points and pulled down 5.7 rebounds per game and shot 40.3% from three-point range last season.
