Houston Cougars Men's Basketball earns 2-seed in the 2021 AAC Men's Basketball Tournament

With Sunday's 67-64 buzzer-beating win over the Memphis Tigers, the Houston Cougars men's basketball team clinched the 2-seed in the 2021 American Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Championship which begins this Thursday, March 11, with three first round games.
Houston (21-3 overall, 14-3 in the AAC) will face the winner of the first round game between the 10-seed Tulane Green Wave and the 7-seed Tulsa Golden Hurricane game which takes place Thursday, March 11.
Houston's game against the winner of that first round match-up will take place Friday, March 12, in a quarterfinal match-up scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., on ESPNU.
