Houston Cougars Announce Matchup with WKU has been added to the 2020-21 Schedule

The Houston Cougars Men's Basketball program has added another home game inside Fertitta Center to its 2020-21 schedule, Head Coach Kelvin Sampson announced Sunday.

The Cougars (18-3, 12-3 in The American) will play host to WKU at 6 p.m., Thursday, inside the Fertitta Center. ESPN will broadcast the game.

WKU enters the game with a 15-4 overall record and an 8-2 mark in Conference USA play to lead the league's East Division.

Thursday's match-up will be Houston's fifth meeting against the Hilltoppers in Houston's history and the first since the 2009-10 season. In the last meeting, Houston won 74-72 inside E.A. Diddle Arena in Bowling Green, KY, on February 9, 2010.

Thursday's game will be WKU's first trip to Houston since the Cougars claimed a 73-64 win in Hofheinz Pavilion on November 15, 2008. Houston has won each of the last three games against the Hilltoppers.
