Houston Cougars Guard Caleb Mills Stepping Away from Houston Men's Basketball

Houston Cougars sophomore guard Caleb Mills is stepping away from competition for personal reasons and will not play in the Cougars' game at SMU on Sunday evening.

"Caleb, our coaching staff and his family have agreed that he needs time to refresh and prepare for the remainder of the season," Head Coach Kelvin Sampson said.

No timetable was set for Mills' return to the team.

In 2020-21, Mills is averaging 9.8 points and 1.3 rebounds in four games.
