Cedrick Alley Jr, redshirt-sophomore, has decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal. Alley competed in two games early in the 2017-'18 season before sitting out the rest of the season as a redshirt following a hip injury.
Alley tweeted: "First giving honor to God for giving me the opportunity and ability to play the game I love. I want to thank my family and friends for the support they gave me on this journey at the University of Houston. I want to thank Coach Sampson, the entire coaching staff, my teammates and Coog Nation for letting me be a part of their family for the past 3 years. Houston will forever have a piece of my heart.
With that being said, I have decided to place my name in the transfer portal. Thank you for everything. Coog Forever."
