Houston Cougars Men's Basketball Adds Sunday Home Game vs. Alcorn State

The Houston Cougars men's basketball program has added a matchup versus Alcorn State to the 2020-21 schedule. Houston will face Alcorn State Sunday, December 20, at 3 p.m., inside the Fertitta Center.

The Coogs are 5-0 against Alcorn State during the series history with four home wins. This will be the first time Houston has faced Alcorn State since an 89-58 win inside Hofheinz Pavilion on December 9, 2013.

Houston paused all team-related activities due to positive COVID-19 issues on December 8 which resulted in the postponements of the December 9th game versus Sam Houston State; the December 12th matchup versus Rice; the rescheduling of the December 15th home game versus UCF to January 17th; and the cancellation of the December 19th game at Alabama.

Houston has been cleared by its medical staff to resume team practice Tuesday afternoon, December 15.
