Houston Cougars Men's Basketball Coaches Clinic Set for October 19

High school and AAU coaches are invited to University of Houston Head Coach Kelvin Sampson's annual fall clinic on October 19 inside the Fertitta Center.

Admission to the clinic is FREE. Parking will be available in the TDECU Stadium Garage across from the Club entrance off Holman Street. Fertitta Center Club doors off Holman Street will open at 9 a.m., with the clinic starting at 9:45 a.m.

To sign up, coaches may visit uhcougars.com/mbbcoachesclinic and submit a form. For more information, coaches should contact Bilal Batley by calling 713-743-9430 or by emailing bbatley @central.uh.edu. Coaches are asked to register by October 16.

Coach Kelvin Sampson will lead the clinic in after-timeout plays and special situations, while his staff will discuss other aspects.

Coaches Kellen Sampson and Alvin Brooks will lead the discussion on post development, while Quannas White will teach guard development. Men's Basketball Director of Sports Performance, Alan Bishop, will speak on strength and conditioning and nutrition.

Following the clinic, lunch will be served, and coaches are invited to watch the Houston Men's Basketball practice on the Fertitta Center court.
