Houston Cougars' Fans Invited to Join Light Show in Fertitta Center
POSTED: October 31, 2019 -- 5:59 p.m. CT
Fans of the University of Houston Men's Basketball team are invited to join the gameday atmosphere at home games inside the Fertitta Center during the 2019-20 season by downloading the Cue Audio Live app to their phones.
The Cougars' pregame light show with Cue Light inside the Fertitta Center will be presented by Coca-Cola this season.
In March 2019, ESPN marketing contacted me about partnering to get people to sign up to ESPN+. (Partnering means I receive a commission when someone signs up to ESPN+.)
Sign up to ESPN+; and, at the same time, support The Houston Roundball Review (me) continue the work which began in 1994.
Stream live sports and ESPN originals PLUS receive the ESPN Insider when you subscribe to ESPN+ for only $4.99 a month. Click this link and sign up.
Or, contribute to The HRR's Tip Jar. Thank you in advance.
After fans download the app and open it at home games, the microphones on their phones will listen for a high-pitch sound, similar to a dog whistle, embedded within the team's introduction video. When the intro video begins, the app picks up the sound and synchronizes phones with the app to the light show.
The Coogs host Angelo State, in an exhibition game, Saturday, November 9, at 5 pm. Houston tips off the regular season, Tuesday, November 12, when it hosts Alabama State. Tip is set for 7 p.m. inside Fertitta Center.
