UH's Taylor Repeats on C-USA All-Defensive Team

For the second straight season, Courtney Taylor, University of Houston junior forward, earned a spot on Conference USA's All-Defensive (doesn't 'All-Defense' sound better) First Team.

Taylor's 10.1 rebounds ranked second in C-USA; and, her 32 blocked shots were second on Houston's squad.

The other members of the All-Defensive Team were Tulsa forward Larissa Williams (C-USA Defensive Player of the Year); Memphis guard Ramses Lonlack; Tulane guard Chassity Brown; and East Carolina guard Ashley Clarke.

C-USA also announced other honors for the 2009-2010 season today as UAB freshman sensation Jala Harris earned Freshman of the Year and Sixth Player of the Year becoming the first player in C-USA history to earn that double honor.
