Texas Southern's 2009 Recruiting Class Highly Touted
HOUSTON, TX -- The Texas Southern University Women’s basketball program is projected to have one of the top HBCU recruiting classes of 2009 according to Allstar Girls Report (ASGR).
ASGR ranks the TSU class 143rd out of 305 NCAA Division I schools. Only North Carlonia A&T's 121st ranking tops TSU among historically black colleges / universities (HBCUs).
Here are the members of the TSU 2009 recruiting class and their rankings.
#311 -- Tanija Beasley (5'9", Harvest Prepatory School (OH), shooting guard)
#566 -- Krissic Harper (5'4", point guard)
#64 --- Brittany Hilliard (5'11", Monroe Community College (NY) in 2007 - 2008, shooting guard)
#69 --- Sara Stewart (5'9", Angelina Junior College, shooting guard)
Transfer -- Jackie Sanders (6'2", Kentucky / Gulf Coast Community College, power forward)
